Raising AMD FVE to $19 As We Incorporate 2019 Share Gains; However, Intel Will Rebound in 2020
After taking a fresh look at our x86 server and PC market share estimates, we are raising our fair value estimate for AMD to $19 per share from $13 per share. During Intel’s first-quarter conference call, the firm reduced its full-year 2019 revenue guidance by $2.5 billion to $69 billion (which implies a 3% year-over-year decline), while AMD anticipates full-year 2019 revenue to be up in the mid-single digits (which implies a 45% jump in second half sales over the first half).
