Attendance headwinds persist at International Speedway, hampering near-term profitability.

Marked improvement in adjusted earnings per share (to $0.26 from $0.06 in the year-ago quarter) at narrow-moat International Speedway was largely facilitated by a Chicagoland race moving into the third quarter from the fourth and a new music event being held at California.
