JA Solar reported second -quarter earnings on Aug. 17. Revenue was reported 51% higher than last year at $619 million, and higher 18.6% sequentially. Strong revenue growth was attributed to the increases in external shipments and modular shipments. External shipments were reported up 18.4% sequentially, while module shipments were up 23.4% sequentially.
