Julius Baer Reports Decent First-Half Results, but Environment Remains Challenging

Despite a recently unsettling macro environment, Julius Baer posted decent results for the first half of 2016. Adjusted net profit, which excludes the first-half 2015 U.S. Department of Justice settlement, and adjusted earnings per share increased 5% from the previous year to CHF 402 million and CHF 1.84, respectively.
