Marsh & McLennan’s Growth Slows in Q3, but Margins Improve
Marsh & McLennan’s third-quarter results were somewhat mixed. On the negative side, growth slowed a bit. The risk and insurance services segment was steady with 2% year-over-year growth, excluding currency effects and acquisitions, and Latin America as the one region to record strong gains. Growth in the consulting segment was weak at only 1% year over year, marking a modest deceleration from recent results.
