Nasdaq Increases Market Share More Than Revenue in 1Q
Nasdaq achieved solid sequential trading volume market share gains, but this didn’t translate into material revenue. Compared with the fourth quarter of 2016 (because the first quarter of 2016 didn’t include many recent acquisitions), net revenue decreased 3%, to $583 million from $599 million. The sequential decline in revenue came primarily from market technology.
