Nokia Posts 1Q Largely In line; Better-Than-Expected Mobile Networks Segment Results; Maintain FVE
Nokia started the year on a neutral note with success in the mobile networks segment offset by declines in fixed networks. The robust demand from North American carriers, particularly in small cells area helped wireless revenue to remain sequentially flat. This development also aided gross margin expansion, and management expects these trends to continue throughout 2017.
