Novartis Posts in Line Third Quarter; New Product Launches and Pipeline Set to Offset Patent Losses
Novartis posted third-quarter results largely in line with both our and consensus expectations, and we don’t expect any major changes to our $89 fair value estimate. We continue to view the stock as undervalued as concerns about the poor launch for cardiovascular drug Entresto and negative operating margins at the eye division Alcon should begin to dissipate in 2017.
