Improvement but No Quick Fix for Pearson in 2017
Pearson’s trading update ahead of its full-year results in February came in at the top end of the guided range and was broadly in line with our forecasts. It was the company’s guidance for 2018, however, that caused the share price weakness on the morning of Jan. 17, with management expecting further strife in its North American higher education business.
