Phillips 66 Runs on All Cylinders During 1Q
Phillips 66 posted first-quarter adjusted earnings of $512 million compared with $294 million the year before thanks to gains across all three of its operating segments. Refining adjusted earnings rebounded during the quarter, increasing to $89 million from a loss of $2 million last year. Midstream adjusted earnings surged to $233 million from $112 million the year before on strong results from the transportation and NGL operations.
