Qiagen's 3Q Meets Our Expectations
We don’t anticipate a change to our fair value estimate or no-moat rating for Qiagen as we make a few adjustments to our model for restructuring items, including the company's decision to discontinue some noncritical diagnostic tests and divest itself of its HPV distribution operations in China. Third-quarter results of 6% organic growth and about 90 basis points of adjusted operating margin expansion to 26.9% mostly matched our expectations.
