REA Group Meets Expectations With Strong Fiscal 2016 Result

REA Group delivered strong profit growth in fiscal 2016, with net profit after tax rising 21% to a record AUD 253 million. Underlying NPAT (excluding the AUD 41 million noncash revaluation gain related to the iProperty Group acquisition and the benefit of the AUD 20 million legal settlement with Zillow) was AUD 212 million, still a record result and a respectable 11% increase on the prior year.
