Regis Tracking Towards Top of Guidance, AUD 1.90 Fair Value Estimate Maintained
We maintain our AUD 1.90 per share fair value estimate for Regis Resources after second-quarter fiscal 2017 production output rose 7% from the first quarter to 74,600 ounces with improved grades with the start of mining from Gloster. Cash costs excluding royalties similarly improved, falling 5% to AUD 804 per ounce. With the second half expected to benefit further from higher-grade Gloster ore, Regis is tracking towards the top end of guidance of 300,000-330,000 ounces.
