Second-Half Earnings to Rise Strongly. We Foresee Strong Demand in Melbourne for Ryman Villages.

Ryman Healthcare, or Ryman, reported first-half fiscal 2017 underlying profit of NZD 76.5 million or NZD 15.3 cents per share, up 9% on the previous corresponding period. The interim dividend increased from NZD 7.3 to NZD 8.5 cents per share, consistent with the firm's targeted 50% payout ratio. Ryman also provided initial profit guidance for fiscal 2017 of NZD 175 to 185 million, implying second-half earnings of NZD 98.5 to 108.5 million or growth of 29% to 42% on the first half.
