BT Settles With Ofcom and Agrees to Legal Separation of Openreach, but Maintains Ownership
BT Group announced on March 10 that it had reached an agreement with Ofcom, the telecom regulator, regarding its Openreach division. With this agreement, Openreach will be a legally separate company with its own board of directors, with the majority of directors being independent. However, BT will remain the owner of Openreach.
