Sherwin-Williams Wraps Up Solid 2017; Poised to Benefit From Lower U.S. Tax Rates
Sherwin-Williams generated nearly $15 billion in sales and $2.28 billion in EBITDA in 2017, generally in line with our expectations. We were pleased to see some signs of price traction in the fourth quarter following an extended period of input cost inflation, which had been eroding profitability over the past year. While our operating outlook is largely unchanged, we have reduced our long-term tax rate to 25% to reflect a lower U.S. corporate tax rate.
