Growth decelerates in fourth quarter for Symrise, but underlying trends remain healthy.
Wide-moat Symrise ended 2017 on a soft note as fourth-quarter organic growth of 5.7% missed high consensus expectations after a blistering third quarter that registered organic growth of 9.1%. Fourth-quarter EBITDA margins fell just 20 basis points over the prior-year period despite increasing raw material costs.
