Telus Posts Solid Results, Raises Outlook on Customer Acquisitions; Increasing FVE to CAD 42
Telus delivered first-quarter results that roughly tracked our expectations. Total revenue grew 3% year over year, thanks to continued strength in both wireless and wireline markets. The firm added 44,000 net wireless postpaid customers, far higher the 8,000 gain a year ago. This customer gain was ahead of BCE (36,000) and Shaw (34,000) and behind Rogers (60,000).
