Time Warner Reports Strong 2Q; Investment in Hulu Improves Odds of 2017 Launch

Time Warner posted another strong quarter, as adjusted EBITDA came in ahead of expectations in the second quarter. Management raised its 2016 earnings per share guidance to $5.35-$5.45 from $5.30-$5.40. We are maintaining our wide moat rating and our $85 fair value estimate. With the shares trading in 3-star territory, we would wait for a pullback before investing.
