TiVo's IP licensing business will sustain the firm's excess returns on invested capital.

TiVo reported another decent quarterly performance. Product innovation and IP licensing deals characterized the third quarter, with TiVo launching new voice search and user experience products, while notching multiple new IP licensing deals with customers across the globe.
