TransAlta Reports In-Line Results and Plans to Detail Gas Conversion Strategy on Dec. 6
We are reaffirming our fair value estimate of CAD 7 per share after TransAlta reported third-quarter comparable EBITDA in line with last year and reaffirmed all of its 2017 earnings and cash flow guidance. Our no-moat and stable moat trend ratings are unchanged. We plan to slightly increase our 2017 comparable EBITDA estimate of CAD 1.046 billion closer to the midpoint of TransAlta’s guidance of CAD 1.025 billion to CAD 1.1 billion.
