Transurban's Investor Day Highlights Growth Potential and Higher Costs
Our main takeaway from wide-moat Transurban's 2018 investor day is that elevated costs, a feature of the first-half 2018 result, will continue. Some costs should generate additional revenue while others go to appease community concerns and protect its "social licence to operate." This is a noticeable change from the old days of widening jaws by keeping costs flat while revenue grew.
