Sky Deal Likely Headed for Further Regulatory Review; Decision May Take Up to Six Months

As expected, U.K. Culture Secretary Karen Bradley disclosed that she was inclined to refer Fox’s bid for the remainder of Sky to the Competition and Markets Authority for review due to concerns over media plurality. While Sky and Fox have 10 days to submit evidence to Bradley, we do not expect her to reverse the decision.
