Village Roadshow is making strong progress on the deleveraging front. While we had already factored in the sale of its 50% interest in the Golden Village Singaporean cinema venture, the Oct. 26 completion of the drawn-out deal and the receipt of AUD 164 million was nevertheless a relief. The balance sheet is likely to be further strengthened by the imminent sale of the Gold Coast freehold land--a transaction that we estimate will realise AUD 90 million in net proceeds, in return for incurring AU...Village Roadshow is principally engaged in the theme park and water park operations, cinema exhibition operations, film and digital versatile disc distribution operations. In addition, Co. had an equity-accounted 50.17% interest in Village Roadshow Entertainment Group Limited which has film production activities, as of June 30 2016.
