VMware Reports Solid 1Q Results; Increases Full-Year Outlook; Raising FVE to $93
VMware reported fiscal first-quarter revenue and non-GAAP EPS results that were slightly ahead of our expectations as well as management’s guidance. Solid license growth in products such as NSX and vSAN contributed to the strong quarterly performance. We are encouraged by the continued momentum of VMware’s newer product offerings as we think these efforts will help offset slowing license sales growth in VMware’s legacy compute business.
