Werner Continues to Navigate a Lackluster Trucking Landscape in Its Third Quarter
Full-truckload carrier Werner Enterprises posted a 5% year-over-year decline in total revenue. The firm’s top-line trend fell slightly short of our expected run rate for the year on softer tractor utilization, while operating margins also came in shy, in part because of the anemic used equipment market (lower gains on equipment sales).
