WestJet's new CEO Ed Sims must launch an ULCC arm, grow internationally, and negotiate with unions.

No-moat WestJet Airlines' chief executive, Gregg Saretsky, announced on March 8 that he is retiring effective immediately. Saretsky had been at the carrier since 2009 and served as CEO for eight years.
