Wood Products Segment Continues to Drive Results Higher; Maintaining $36 FVE

As expected, rising lumber and panel prices continued to propel profitability in Weyerhaeuser's second quarter. Consolidated adjusted EBITDA rose to $506 million, up just over 11% from the first quarter. Performance was primarily driven by 13% and 15% respective appreciation in the lumber and oriented strand board benchmarks we monitor. On the whole, the quarter remained in line with our expectations for no-moat Weyerhaeuser, and we maintain our $36 fair value estimate.
