Whitehaven Production Slightly Weaker Than Expected, but FVE Maintained
Our fair value estimate for no-moat Whitehaven Coal remains AUD 2.90 per share. Fourth-quarter production was slightly weaker than expected, and higher unit costs look to drive lower earnings than we previously forecast. Collectively, these changes have led us to reduce our fiscal 2018 earnings forecast by 14% to AUD 0.51 per share.
