Yara is primarily a commodity producer with operations at the high end of the nitrogen cost curve.
Yara continued to deal with weak fertilizer prices in the second quarter but did get some measure of relief from lower input costs, higher volumes, and currency tailwinds. Adjusted EBITDA came in at NOK 3.96 billion compared with NOK 5.06 billion in the second quarter of 2015, a more than 20% decline. We are holding steady on our NOK 302 per share fair value estimate, which was recently reduced from NOK 370 per share to reflect a lower long-term outlook for nitrogen prices.
