Drillisch is a holding company. Co. through its subsidiaries, is a mobile virtual network operator in Germany. The services acquired from the network operators Telekom Deutschland GmbH, Vodafone D2 GmbH, E-Plus Mobilfunk GmbH and Telefonica O2 Germany GmbH & Co. OHG are sold further to the end consumers for Co.'s own account and at rates established by Co. Co. organizes its operations into three segments: telecommunications, which includes its activities in the sector of wireless services; freenet holding, which comprises the operations of its freenet AG subsidiary; and software services, which involves activities related to the development and marketing of a workflow management software.

Norddeutsche Steingut is a Germany-based manufacturer and distributor of tiles, concentrating on wall and floor tiles for the residential and commercial sector. As of December 31, 2011, Co. was operational through its two wholly owned subsidiaries Nord Ceram Fliesenproduktions und -vertriebs GmbH & Co. KG, which mass produces standard- and large-size floor tiles under the Pro brand for its own sale and for partners of the parent company; as well as Bremer Wandplatten GmbH, which produces floor and wall tiles under the BW brand. Berentzen Gruppe AG is a Germany-based producer and distributor of liquors and non-alcoholic beverages. Under the Berentzen brand, the Company offers corn brandies and a range of fruit brandies made from apples, pears, wild and black cherries, plums, damsons, blackcurrants and red fruits, as well as from passion fruits and melons. Under the Puschkin brand, the Company offers vodka and fruit-flavored vodka, including blackberry and blood orange flavors. Other brands and products include Doornkaat, Strothmann, Bommerlunder Aquavit, Amaro Montenegro, Vecchia Romagna and Polar Limes, among others. In addition, the Company offers non-alcoholic beverages under the Vivaris and Sinalco brands. The Company operates through various subsidiaries across Germany.

CGG is a global participant in the geophysical seismic industry. Co. manufactures geophysical equipment and provides marine, land, and airborne data acquisition services. Co. also provides geosciences services, including data imaging, seismic data characterization, geosciences and petroleum engineering consulting services, and collecting, developing and licensing geological data. Co.'s clients are in oil and gas exploration and production industies. Co. divides its activities into four segments: Equipment, Contractual Data Acquisition, Geology, Geophysics and Reservoir (GGR), and Non-Operated Resources, including eight business lines, six Corporate functions, and four Group Departments.

Deutz is the parent company of DEUTZ Group, and is engaged as an independent manufacturer of compact diesel engines for both on and off-road use. Co. develops, designs, produces and sells diesel engines that are cooled by water, oil or air. Co.'s operating activities are divided into: the DEUTZ Compact Engines segment, which comprises liquid-cooled engines with capacities of up to eight litres; and the DEUTZ Customised Solutions segment, which focuses on air-cooled engines and large liquid-cooled engines with capacities of more than eight litres, and also supplies reconditioned parts and engines. Co. also repairs, maintains and services vehicles and machines fitted with DEUTZ engines.

ERG is engaged in the generation of energy from renewable sources and from thermoelectric plants, in the marketing of electricity, steam and gas, in the refining, marketing and distribution of petroleum products both in Italy and abroad. Co., also through its own subsidiaries and joint ventures with primary international operators, operates in the following segments: renewable energy sources, under which Co. operates through its ERG Renew S.p.A. subsidiary in the wind power generation business; power and gas, which includes the production and marketing of electric energy, steam and gas; and refining and marketing, which includes the results of Coastal Refining and Integrated Downstream.

Etablissements Maurel et Prom is engaged in the oil and gas industry. Co. is engaged in mainly two activities: exploration and production of oil and gas; and oil drilling. The goal of the exploration business is to discover exploitable accumulations of hydrocarbons. It includes geological and geophysical studies, acquisition and seismic processing as well as exploratory drilling. Co. operates in 12 countries and 4 continents, including Colombia, Peru, France, Italy, Congo, Tanzania, Gabon, Namibia, and Mozambique. Co. is also engaged in a project of gold exploration in Mali. As of Dec. 31 2013 Co. had close to 100,000 sq. km of exploration areas in 12 countries on 4 continents.

PostNL is a mail, parcel and e-commerce corporation with operations in the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Belgium, and the United Kingdom. Co. has been assigned by the Dutch government to carry out the UPD (Universele Postdienst, Dutch for Universal Postal Service). Carrying out the UPD requires, amongst other things, Co. to deliver mail throughout the Netherlands five days a week (Tuesday through Saturday) and to maintain enough mailboxes in the country. ACM is charged with monitoring and enforcing the execution by Co. Co.'s operations are organized along three business segments: Mail in the Netherlands; Parcels; and International. Co. maintains over ten networks across thirteen countries.
