A positive signal: employment conditions in the Eurozone
Net job creation is one of the best indicators of the state of domestic demand in the Eurozone. According to national data, we estimate its monthly rate at 220,000 at the start of the spring, a level equivalent to that of 2017. Their trend is in synch with the business cycle, i.e. not lagging.
