Co.'s technology solutions are used by customers to build components for electronic and opto-electronic applications based on compound, silicon, or organic semiconductor materials. The components are used in displays, signaling, lighting, fiber optic communication systems, wireless and mobile telephony applications, optical and electronic storage devices, computing, as well and other technologies. Co. supplies to customers both full production-scale chemical vapor deposition systems and small scale systems for research and development use.

ELMOS Semiconductor is engaged in the development, manufacture and distribution of microelectronic components and system parts (application specific integrated circuits or, in short: ASICs) and technological devices with similar functions.Co. divides its activities into: medical technology, semiconductor, which is engaged in the sale of automotive electronics and supplying semiconductors e.g. for applications in household appliances, photo cameras, installation and building technology, and machine control systems; and micromechanics, which is engaged in the sales of product containing micro-electro-mechanical systems which are for the most part silicon-based high-precision pressure sensors.

Eramet is a mining and metallurgical group, which specializes in the extraction, production and marketing of non-ferrous metals, their chemical derivatives, alloys and superalloys, and parts. Co.'s operations are divided into three divisions: Nickel division which focuses on nickel and its derivative applications; Manganese division which focuses on manganese alloys, manganese chemical derivatives and provides recovery and recycling services of metals contained in oil-industry catalysts, electric batteries and acid solutions; and Alloys division which produces and sells special high-performance steels, superalloys and pre-machined parts based on these materials or aluminium and titanium.

Faurecia is an automobile equipment supplier based in France. Co.'s activities can be divided into four business units: Automotive Seating (design of vehicle seats, manufacture of seating frames and adjustment mechanisms, and assembly of complete seating units); Emissions Control Technologies (design and manufacture of exhaust systems); Interior Systems (design and manufacture of instrument panels, door panels and modules, and acoustic components); and Automotive Exteriors (design and manufacture of front ends and safety modules). Some of Co.'s customers are PSA Peugeot Citroen, VW Group, Renault-Nissan, Ford Group, BMW and GM Group.

Infineon Technologies is a semiconductor manufacturing company. The Automotive segment designs, develops, manufactures and markets semiconductors for use in automotive applications. Pirelli & Co. is a holding company that manages, coordinates and finances the operations of its subsidiaries, which are mainly active in the tyre sector.
