It is organized into four operating segments: Germany, Europe, and the United States; and Systems Solutions, as well as Group Headquarters and Shared Services. Co. provides fixed-network lines, broadband lines and mobile communications. Co. also provides customized Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions for corporate customers under the T-Systems brand. In addition, Co. provides online food retailing services. Co. also finances, develops and manages store sites and shopping centers. Ahold Europe comprises Albert Heijn in the Netherlands and Belgium; Etos, Gall & Gall, and albert.nl in the Netherlands; and Albert / Hypernova in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Ahold USA is organized into four retail divisions: Giant Carlisle, Giant Landover, Stop & Shop New England, and Stop & Shop New York Metro. The Peapod online business is also part of Ahold USA.

Randstad is a global staffing and recruitment company, providing various solutions in the human resources (HR) services space. Co.'s services include regular temporary staffing and permanent placement of candidates. In addition, Co. provides several other HR solutions, such as Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), Managed Services Programs (MSP), payroll services, and outplacement. Co. provides four distinct service concepts: Staffing, Inhouse Services, Professionals and HR Solutions.

Schindler Holding is a holding company. Co. through its subsidiaries is engaged in the production of escalators, elevators and moving walks. Co. operates globally in one main division: Elevators and Escalators. The Elevators and Escalators division provides a range of elevators for different applications, including freight and special elevators, high-rise elevators, residential elevators and commercial elevators. Co. also provides commercial and public transport escalators and inclined and horizontal moving walks.

Telekom Austria is engaged as full service telecommunications providers of long distance, local and wireless services, corporate data communications services as well as internet services and television broadcasting. Co. generates revenues from fixed line services and mobile communication services to individuals, commercial and noncommercial organizations and other national and foreign carriers. To a lesser extent, Co. generates revenue from the sale of mobile communications handsets. Co. also supplies telephones and technical equipment for telephone communications. These activities are conducted primarily in Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia and Belarus.

UBS Group is a holding company. Through its subsidiary, UBS, Co. provides financial services including advisory services, underwriting, financing, market making, asset management and brokerage and retail banking.
