Atalian : This is the end of the Journey in UK and Asia
The cancellation on 16 December 2022 of the planned takeover of the group by CD&R (announced in July) was a huge disappointment for bondholders who would have been reimbursed at the close of the transaction. That said, the new agreement to divest the UK and Asia operations for € 735m is good news for Atalian as it will help to safeguard its liquidity and secure future debt maturity repayments, in particular the € 103m RCF which matures on 22 April.
