As the annual reporting season comes to an end, we are taking this opportunity to update our estimates of banks' MREL/TLAC requirements and funding needs. - While the details are still being hammered out and are not expected to be finalised until the BRRD2 is published later this year, the Single Resolution Board has set its MREL policy for 2019. - The formula has not changed but the details have become clearer and, as expected, the minimum subordination requirement has been raised. - ...
