Co. operates hypermarkets under the brand Geant Casino; urban and rural supermarkets under the brand Casino Supermarches; city-centre supermarkets under the brand Monoprix; convenience/national superettes under the brands Petit Casino, Vival and Spar; covenience-paris area stores under the brand Marche Franprix; and discount stores under the brand Leader Price.

Metro is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is engaged in retail and wholesale. Co.'s operations are divided into four divisions: Metro Cash & Carry, Real, Media-Saturn and Galeria Kaufhof. The Metro Cash & Carry division operates in the cash and carry sector in Europe, Asia and Africa. The Real division is a hypermarket operator in Germany where it operates both stationary stores and an online store. The Media-Saturn division provides an assortment of brand products in consumer electronics retailing. The Galeria Kaufhof division operates department stores in Germany and Belgium. Faurecia is an automobile equipment supplier based in France. Co.'s activities can be divided into four business units: Automotive Seating (design of vehicle seats, manufacture of seating frames and adjustment mechanisms, and assembly of complete seating units); Emissions Control Technologies (design and manufacture of exhaust systems); Interior Systems (design and manufacture of instrument panels, door panels and modules, and acoustic components); and Automotive Exteriors (design and manufacture of front ends and safety modules). Some of Co.'s customers are PSA Peugeot Citroen, VW Group, Renault-Nissan, Ford Group, BMW and GM Group.

Hornbach Holding is engaged in the development and operation of do-it-yourself (DIY) megastores with garden centers on an international basis. In addition, Co. and its subsidiaries are engaged in the construction materials and builders' merchant business. Co. operates within two segments: retail business and its real estate business. As of Feb. 28, 2014, Co. was operating a total of 49 DIY megastores with garden centers in eight countries outside Germany.

Telecom Italia is a telecommunications group based in Italy. Co. is engaged in the communications sector and, particularly, the fixed and mobile national and international telecommunications sector, the television sector and the office products sector. Co. operates mainly in Europe, South America and the Mediterranean Basin. Co.'s operations are organized along two operating segments: Domestic - Italy (providing telephone and data services on fixed-line and mobile networks for final customers (retail) and other operators (wholesale)); and Brazil (operates in the mobile phone, fixed telephony, in long-distance and data transmission markets in Brazil).
