BNP Paribas : Net profit above forecasts in Q2, unchanged 2024 guidance is conservative

Revenues totalled € 12.27bn (+3.9% vs the Q2 2023 adjusted base), 3% above the consensus and our forecast, with better-than-expected revenues in capital markets, but we also noted that revenues in all other core business lines were around 1% above forecasts. Other activities include principal investments, which related to Co.'s central treasury function, some costs related to crossbusiness projects, the residential mortgage lending business of personal finance, and certain investments.
