Borussia Dortmund has two reportable segments, which are responsible for the main activites of the overall Group. The first segment consists of Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA, which operates a professional football club including professional football squad and leverages the associated revenue potential arising from the the transfer of players, catering, TV marketing, sponsorship and ticketing. The second segment consists of the separate merchandising business, which is carried out by BVB Merchandising GmbH. In addition, Co. assumes all the marketing activities for the stadium, including the event areas, on non-match days and includes activities such as stadium tours.

PSP Swiss Property is a holding company. Co. operates under three business segments: real estate investments, which includes the real estate business that comprises all properties of Co.'s investment properties, investment properties earmarked for sale, own-used properties, sites and development properties as well as development projects earmarked for sale; real estate management, which includes all services and activities with regard to the management of Co.'s own real estate portfolio; and holding, which includes the corporate functions such as finance, legal, corporate communications, human resources and information technology.

SBM Offshore is a holding company. Co. provides floating production solutions to the offshore energy industry, over the full product life-cycle. Co.'s main activities are the design, supply, installation, operation and life extension of floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels. Other products include semi-submersibles, tension-leg platforms, floating production storage and offloading liquefied natural gas, turret mooring systems, brownfield and offshore (off) loading terminals. As of Dec 31 2015, Co.'s fleet consisted of 10 FPSOs, two floating storage and offloadings, one mobile offshore production unit, one semisubmersible in operation worldwide.

SFC Energy provides fuel cell generators for off-grid power applications, low and medium voltage electrical machine power products, instrumentation and measurement solutions, gas and flame detection safety systems as well as supervisory control and data acquisition solutions. For the power electronic market, Co. provides high-power electronic components, external and internal converters, switch mode power supplies, and special coils. For the defence and secutiry market, Co. provides portable power solutions that soldiers can use to run the devices they carry while on dismantled deployment. For the consumer market, Co. provides fuel cells used in hybrid operationalong with a solar module.

Voltalia. Voltalia SA is a France-based holding company engaged in the renewable utilities sector. It designs, develops and operates electric power stations in numerous countries, such as France, French Guyana, Brazil, Greece and Morocco. The Company generates electricity using a variety of renewable energy sources. These include wind, water, biomass and solar power. In addition, Voltalia SA specializes in carbon credit trading activities. The Company operates several subsidiaries, including Anelia and Bio-Bar in France, Voltalia Guyane, SIG Kourou, SIG Mana and SIG Cacao in French Guyana, Voltalia Energia do Brasil in Brazil, Thegero in Greece and Alterrya Maroc in Morocco, among others. The Company is owned by Voltalia Investissement SA.
