Corbion is an internationally operating company engaged in the development, production, sale and distribution of bakery supplies and food ingredients. Co. is engaged in the Bakery Supplies and Lactic Acid business. Co.'s operations are divided into two segments: Bakery operations and Lactic acid operations. Co.'s Bakery operations comprise the development, production and sale of bakery ingredients and products. Co.'s Lactic acid operations involve the production of lactic acid and lactic acid derivatives which are used in food, pharmaceutical and technical products. Co. operates mostly in Europe and North America. Co.'s brands are Waldkorn, Kate's cakes, Purac, Carel, MeisterMarken.

ESKER and its subsidiaries are engaged in the design and production of software applications. Co. operates corporate resource access software such as applications and databases for workstations. Co. has three major product groups: Host Access, DeliveryWare and Fax Server. Host Access products allows users to access applications and databases stored on different servers from their own workstations. DeliveryWare responds to the need of companies for automatic management document delivery. Fax Server allows the user to send a fax directly from their workstation.

Grenkeleasing is engaged in providing financial services in three business segments: Leasing, Banking and Factoring. Leasing: Co.'s financing activities are focused on small-ticket IT leasing. Co. finances a wide range of goods, primarily in the area of information technology on IT equipment and systems and software. Banking: Through GRenke Bank AG, Co. provides financing products for small and medium sized enterprises focused on German customers, including lower-volume receivables (factoring) and car leasing. Co. also offers payment transactions and investment products. Factoring: Co. performs traditional factoring services in Germany and is a financial service provider. .

Salzgitter is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. organized its businesses into five divisions. The Steel Division manufactures steel and special steels. The Tubes Division is involved with the manufacture of line pipes, HFI-welded pipes, precision tubes and stainless steel tubes. The Trading Division operates a European sales network as well as trading companies and agencies worldwide. The companies in the Services Division provide services such as data processing, telecommunications services, scrap dealing, the handling and storage of bulk cargo, transportation, and other services. The Technology Division operates in the filling and packaging technology segment.
