>End of the line for distribution - CRH has announced the signature of an agreement for the divestment of its Europe Distribution to the private equity funds managed by Blackstone for an EV of € 1.64bn (excluding a consideration of € 50m subject to respecting of a number of other contractual clauses). In 2018, this segment generated sales of € 3.86bn (i.e. 14% of group sales) and an EBITDA of € 181m (i.e. 5% of group EBITDA). On this basis, the price paid stands at 10...CRH is a diversified international building materials company. Co. is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of a range of building materials products from the fundamentals of heavy materials and elements to construct the frame, through value-added products that complete the building envelope, to distribution channels which service construction fit-out and renewal.
