EDF : A strong performance in Q1 2022 but a limited impact on EBITDA
>Q1 2022 sales in line with forecasts - Yesterday, EDF published Q1 2022 sales in line with our forecasts. Sales were up significantly by 61% organic at € 35.58bn (vs € 34.56bn est.), driven by electricity and gas prices. Q1 2022 sales benefited from a favorable price effect (+€ 12.9bn), notably in France, Italy, the UK and Belgium, and a positive volume effect (+€ 0.5bn). However, most of the sales growth will have only a limited impact on EBITDA.
