Engie : Guidance too timid for some
>H1 2023 results beat our expectations and those of the consensus - On Friday, Engie reported H1 2023 results that outstripped our estimates and the consensus. EBITDA increased to € 9,364m (+25.2% y-o-y in organic terms) vs our estimate of € 8,460m and the consensus at € 7,434m. EBIT rose 32.4% on an organic basis to € 6,952m, versus ODDO BHF at € 6,060m and the consensus at € 5,574m. The good performance was driven mainly by strong growth in the GEMS business (Globa...Engie is an industrial group, based in France, active in the fields of gas, electricity, energy services and the environment.
