E.ON : The next guidance should reveal an acceleration in growth
>9M results in line with expectations - Yesterday evening, E.ON published 9M 2022 results in line with expectations. EBITDA was down 3% y-o-y to € 6,110m (vs our forecast of € 6,046m and € 5,913m for the Vara consensus), despite a good performance at the energy network and customer solutions activities. See details on performance by division on page 2. EBIT was € 4,034m (+3% y-o-y) vs € 3,977m forecast. Net profit was € 2,126m (-3% vs last year) in line with our fore...E.ON is an investor-owned energy company. The Generation global unit consists of all Co.'s existing (fossil and nuclear) generation assets in Europe. The Renewables unit is engaged in managing Co.'s carbonsourcing and renewables businesses. The Global Commodities unit buys and sells electricity, natural gas, liquefied natural gas, oil, coal, freight, biomass, and carbon allowances. The Exploration & Production unit is a active in the focus regions of the North Sea (U.K., Norway), Russia and North Africa. The New Build & Technology unit include Co.'s project-management and engineering operations to support the construction of new power plants and the operation of existing plants.
