Hornbach Holding is engaged in the development and operation of do-it-yourself (DIY) megastores with garden centers on an international basis. In addition, Co. and its subsidiaries are engaged in the construction materials and builders' merchant business. Co. operates within two segments: retail business and its real estate business. As of Feb. 28, 2014, Co. was operating a total of 49 DIY megastores with garden centers in eight countries outside Germany.

Mersen produces materials and electrical components intended for alternative energies, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, rail transportation, electronics and process industries. Co. divides its operations into two segments: Advanced Materials and Technologies (AMT - Materials), and Electrical Components and Technologies (ECT - Electrical). In addition, Co. produces four types of products: Electrical Applications, Electrical Protection, High-Temperature Applications, and Anticorrosion Equipment. Co. also caters to the process industries, supporting their transition towards greater energy efficiency and boasts an efficient manufacturing base with plants employing the very latest technologies.

Co. is engaged in the media industry, primarily television edition & broadcasting. Co.'s operations can be divided into three segments. In the Free-to-Air segment, Co. operates a Free-to-Air terrestrial TV network, financed exclusively by advertising. In the Digital TV segment, Co. broadcasts many digital channels. In the Diversification & audiovisual rights segment, Co. purchases audiovisual rights. Co. is also engaged in distance-selling business, allows viewers to play an active role in the unfolding of programs proposed to them, develops mobile phone content; publishes a family of websites, organizes events & shows, & manages football Club des Girondins de Bordeaux.

Nordex is a holding company. Co. is a supplier of multimegawatt onshore wind turbines for locations characterised by strong, medium and light wind conditions. Co. focuses on developing and producing the entire system including the control software as well as the main core components and on providing related services. This mainly refers to the sale of wind power systems and, in selected markets, the upstream wind farm project development and sale of turnkey solutions. In addition, Co. assembles wind turbines and provides the necessary after-sales service. Co.'s finance department also supports customers to raise project finance via national and international commercial banks.

Trigano designs, manufactures and sells leisure vehicles and leisure equipment. Co.'s operations can be divided into two segments: Leisure vehicles and Leisure equipment. The Leisure Vehicles segment produces motor caravans, caravans, mobile homes and accessories and provides services to its customers (leasing and financing of leisure vehicles). The Leisure Equipment segment produces trailers, camping equipment, and garden equipment. Co. operates in France, U.K., Italy, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Netherlands, Norway and Other countries.

Salini Impregilo is engaged in the water segment. Co. is organised according to the distribution of its activities into its various segments: Corporate, which is engaged in the coordination and supervision of Impregilo S.p.A.'s main investments; Construction, which consists of the business headed by Impregilo S.p.A.; Concessions, which consists of the business coordinated by Co.'s subsidiary, Impregilo International Infrastructures B.V. (the Netherlands) and carried out through subsidiaries, jointly controlled entities and associates; as well as Engineering & Plant Construction, which consists of the business headed by FISIA Italimpianti and FISIA Babcock Environment (Germany).
