>Banking activity: marked slowdown confirmed - According to end-February 2019 data reported by the Bank of Italy, private sector loans (adjusted for securitisation) rose +1.2% y-o-y. This confirms the marked slowdown observed since September (-1.6pp of growth y-o-y) and suggests a real change in the trend vs the favourable momentum of 2018 (+2.8% y-o-y on average and still +1.9% in December) in the wake of the economic downturn in Italy in the second half.Lending...Intesa Sanpaolo is a commercial bank.
