>Banking activity still positive in a more challenging climate - According to Bank of Italy data published at end-June, loans (adjusted for securitisation) in the private sector were up +2.4% y-o-y, confirming the relatively good momentum since the start of the year (+2.6% y-o-y on average over the first six months) and the gradual upturn in business since H2 2017 (to recap: +1.8% y-o-y at end-December 2017) in the wake of the economic recovery in Italy.Loans to...Intesa Sanpaolo is a commercial bank.
