Mediaset : Merger of Mediaset and Mediaset España
>A new entity housing the two groups - Mediaset and Mediaset España announced their merger on Friday, 7 June. The new entity will be domiciled for legal purposes in the Netherlands but will remain listed in Italy and Spain. In Spain, Co. is the main shareholder of Mediaset Espana, a Spanish commercial television broadcaster with two main general interest channels (Telecinco and Cuatro) and a range of six free-to-air thematic channels.
