Nokia : Nokia strengthens its product portfolio with the sale of submarine cables and the acquisition of Infinera

>Acquisition of Infinera for an EV of $ 2.3bn - Nokia announced at the end of last week the acquisition of Infinera (US group specialised in optical networks) for $ 6.65 per share, a premium of 28% to the closing price on Thursday. The EV works out at $ 2.3bn, including the purchase of $ 760m in convertible notes held by Infinera. The deal values Infinera at 7.5x EV/EBIT 2025e after integration (vs 30x EV/EBITDA 2024e and 11x 2025e before). Nokia will pay 70% in cash...
