ODDO BHF European Large Caps List: ST Microelectronics added, sector rating on Semis upgraded to Neutral (vs Underweight)
We are adding ST Microelectronics (upgraded to Outperform today) to our European Large Caps Convictions list and we are also upgrading our rating on the Semiconductor sub-sector to Neutral (from Underweight). We are maintaining our Neutral rating on Technology as a whole. Growth sectors could be more sought-after until European growth picks up again. The inclusion of ST Microelectronics is a short-term bet on a value stock that could surprise on the upside in Q2 and Q3 2025. Since its creation, our list has posted a performance of 18%, i.e. +11% vs the Stoxx 600 (dividends included).
